Noble Midstream Partners LP (NBLX) on Monday come announcing appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer by its general partner Noble Midstream GP LLC. The partner firm also appointed new members to its Board of Directors.
The changes made as part of completion of acquisition of Noble Energy, Inc. on October 5, 2020 by Chevron Corporation. The acquiring firm has now control over Noble Midstream GP LLC for holding nearly 63% of its outstanding units.
Noble Midstream’s current President and Chief Operating Officer Robin H. Fielder have been named as company’s President and CEO who will replace current CEO Brent J. Smolik.
Company’s General Counsel and Secretary Aaron G. Carlson; and Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer Thomas W. Christensen will continue their current assignments serving the company.
I am excited to lead the company in its next phase as part of the Chevron, Fielder commented. I am anticipating integrating working and business values of Noble Midstream together to be more beneficial for our stakeholders. Company’s strategy will remain unchanged and focused on making the operations and financial segment stronger by causing a least impact on the working environment.
Chevron’s Vice President of Midstream operations Colin E. Parfitt will join the Board as Chairman. Chevron’s Vice President of Downstream & Chemicals and Midstream Alana K. Knowles; General Counsel of Downstream & Chemicals and Midstream Andrei F.B. Behdjet; and President of its North America Exploration and Production Steven W. Green will join Parfitt on the Noble Midstream’s Board. Fielder who joined the Board in late August will remain part of it.
Former CEO Brent Smolik as well as three other directors will leave the Board withn immediate effect. Directors leaving the Board include EVP and Chief Financial Officer Kenneth M. Fisher; SVP of Noble Energy U.S. Onshore Thomas H. Walker; and SVP of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary Rachel G. Clingman.
