The stock of BigCommerce Holdings, Inc. surged over 27% on Tuesday trading after signing a contract with Facebook. The collaboration agreement with Facebook was for availing facility at Instagram. The checkout facility will now be available to qualifying US merchants attached with BigCommerce. The emerging as well as time-honored businesses at BigCommerce would be among first users of the Instagram feature. The feature will eliminate the requirement of purchasers to check out from the app. They could now shop products available at the platform without visiting supplier’s site. And that too in a secured and flawless manner with some clicks.

System compatibility of BigCommerce with Facebook Commerce Manager will benefit traders.  Merchants at BigCommerce will be able to present their online product lists to customers directly at Instagram. This will help customers buy their desired products directly at the social platform. For making payments, customers would be available with solutions like Mastercard, Visa, Discover and PayPal. Placing orders is not all a customer can do using Instagram app. They can also know current status, tracking ID, delivery time of their orders. The Instagram app is also equipped with other necessary features like initiating returns and could entertain additional support requests.
